These <strong>rewrite rules sometimes don&#8217;t work<\/strong> on specific servers. If you are experiencing issues such as seeing a <strong>blank screen after connecting to your store<\/strong>, your server might not be using these rewrite rules.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WP Engine<\/strong> is an example of a <strong>web host<\/strong> where you will have to <strong>manually add a rewrite rule<\/strong> to ensure that FooSales works correctly on their servers.<\/p>\n<p>To add the appropriate rewrite rule, open your site&#8217;s <strong>WP Engine dashboard <\/strong>(<a href=\"https:\/\/my.wpengine.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">my.wpengine.com<\/a>) and click on\u00a0<strong>rewrite rules<\/strong> in the menu.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-1193 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/help.foosales.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Screen-Shot-2020-01-28-at-14.54.21-1024x372.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"372\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/help.foosales.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Screen-Shot-2020-01-28-at-14.54.21-1024x372.png 1024w, https:\/\/help.foosales.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Screen-Shot-2020-01-28-at-14.54.21-300x109.png 300w, https:\/\/help.foosales.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Screen-Shot-2020-01-28-at-14.54.21-768x279.png 768w, https:\/\/help.foosales.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Screen-Shot-2020-01-28-at-14.54.21-1536x558.png 1536w, https:\/\/help.foosales.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Screen-Shot-2020-01-28-at-14.54.21-2048x744.png 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Click the <strong>New redirect rule<\/strong> button to add a rewrite rule. You can give the rewrite rule a recognizable name such as &#8220;FooSales&#8221;. You can either setup the rewrite rule for all domains or a specific one. In the <strong>source<\/strong> input field, type the following:<\/p>\n<pre>foosales\/static\/(.*)<\/pre>\n<p>In the\u00a0<strong>destination<\/strong> input field, type in the following and make sure you are using your site&#8217;s domain or subdomain with <strong>https<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<pre>https:\/\/<strong>[your domain]<\/strong>\/wp-content\/plugins\/foosales-for-woocommerce\/public\/build\/static\/$1<\/pre>\n<p>or<\/p>\n<pre>https:\/\/<strong>[your subdomain]<\/strong>.wpengine.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/foosales-for-woocommerce\/public\/build\/static\/$1<\/pre>\n<p>In the\u00a0<strong>advanced<\/strong> settings, make sure\u00a0<strong>301 Permanent<\/strong> is selected as the\u00a0<strong>rewrite type<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-1194 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/help.foosales.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/wpengine_rewrite_rule-876x1024.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"876\" height=\"1024\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/help.foosales.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/wpengine_rewrite_rule-876x1024.png 876w, https:\/\/help.foosales.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/wpengine_rewrite_rule-257x300.png 257w, https:\/\/help.foosales.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/wpengine_rewrite_rule-768x898.png 768w, https:\/\/help.foosales.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/wpengine_rewrite_rule.png 1194w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 876px) 100vw, 876px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Once you have saved the new rewrite rule, it should start working within a few minutes.
