Having trouble logging into FooSales apps? Visit our connection issue help guide where we outline common issues and how to resolve them.
When loading the FooSales iPad or Android tablet apps, you will be presented with a login screen that is used to connect FooSales to your store. Please enter your WooCommerce Store URL (this is the full website address for your store), WordPress Username and Password which has ‘administrator’ privileges for your website (not to be confused with your FooSales account details).
Read this help doc if you would like to assign FooSales access to users that don’t have administrator privileges.
The FooSales app will then use your details to securely connect to your store using the FooSales REST API (primary) or WordPress XML-RPC (secondary) and fetch all your store information including products, orders and customer data. XML-RPC is a feature of WordPress that enables data to be transmitted, with HTTP acting as the transport mechanism and XML as the encoding mechanism.
Please be sure to enter your store URL exactly as it appears in your web browser’s address bar.
If you select the ‘Remember Store‘ option the login details will be stored within the app so that you will not need to re-enter the login details each time you close and re-open the app.
Please read this FAQ if you are having trouble connecting the FooSales apps to your store.
