If you’ve entered a barcode number in the SKU field of your product, but the product is not found when scanning the barcode with your iPad camera then it could be that the barcode is a UPC-A barcode. In this case a leading “0” is added to the barcode when scanned which means that the barcode numbers won’t match and the product won’t be found. To fix this you can add a “0” in front of your barcode number in your product’s SKU field. Please note that in this case the product will not be found when using a barcode scanning device.
